The new play from Screenwriting MA alumni, Christine Tuson and directed by Lorna McCoid gained extremely positive reviews upon its premiere last week at St Andrew’s Church Hall in Preston.
The play was presented as part of a selection of one-act plays by the award winning Longton Players and starred Harry Cripps and Dean Wallace as Scoop and Manus.
Synopsis: Lovable rogues Manus and Scoop are supposed to be attending a wedding, but are just popping in to retrieve a watch from Manus’ ex-girlfriend’s flat, or so they think…

Christine Tuson was awarded The Arriva Rail Northern Creative Expo Award for Special Achievement of Creative Excellence in Script-writing in 2019 with her writing partner, Sue De Gruyther for their work on plays about the Dick, Kerr Ladies & Joseph Livesey.
Lorna McCoid previously premiered her debut short film, The Art Collector, at The Great Northern Creative Expo 2019 where the film was awarded the prize of Best Short – Science Fiction.
